Trips like these. The moment you know you are in the middle of an adventure to remember. When everything lines up perfectly and you’ve got supreme conditions with great weather, snow, and stability. That’s where the fun begins!
For each of these fine art adventure photography prints, I take viewers into hard-to-find views of the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. These snow-capped mountains are not only breathtaking to look at but excellent guides for our ski touring adventure. For this three day adventure, we had the opportunity to put in our own skin track and navigate the contours of a new zone.

After the effort of the ascent, nothing beats the feeling of coasting down these mountain passes, carving lines in a fresh canvas and capturing the journey along the way.
This is why I love adventure photography because it’s about so much more than just getting the shot. The best landscapes are the ones that you have to work to get to. It’s really about capturing the process of enjoying the full journey through the mountains from the planning, approach, ascent and the reward of skiing back down to do it all over again.
