"This time in Patagonia has been nothing short of magic. The landscape and these moments will forever touch my soul."
Torres del Paine's vast and profound beauty was evident the second I drove into the park. Making my way to camp under an electric sunset, the dramatic Patagonian clouds hovered above iconic peaks and rolled through the valleys as day gave way to night.
Setting up base camp at Lake Pehoe, there was so much to set out upon and explore. Flora, fauna, puma's and peaks, I wish I had more than a week!
Getting to combine travel and adventure, and meet new faces exploring this remote part of the world was an experience that will not be forgotten and I am forever grateful for these opportunities.
Packing up base camp, I left for the iconic W circuit on the last leg of my trip. Finishing off three awe inspiring days with a moody morning at Mirador Las Torres, it was time for the hike out and start the drive back to Punta Arenas.
Surreal sunrises, afternoon siestas and back out searching for every sunset. This time in Patagonia has been nothing short of magic. The landscape and these moments will forever touch my soul.
Up between 3-5:00 am for almost two weeks straight and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Plenty of time to sleep on the long haul home.
