"Callaghan Country" - Celebrating 23 years in the mountains.

As a fine art photographer, I am always on the lookout for new and adventurous experiences to capture through my lens. And what better way to do that than by embarking on a 3-day ski touring adventure in the beautiful Callaghan valley?

Over three days, my wife and I explored the rugged terrain of the mountains, taking in breathtaking views, skiing great snow and making unforgettable memories. Our base for this adventure was the Journeyman Lodge, a cozy retreat with a great food and a rustic riverside sauna.

This trip wasn't just about skiing and enjoying the great outdoors. It also marked a special milestone for me - 23 years since I first moved to Whistler. Back then, I worked as a professional chef and never would have imagined that one day, I would be a full-time photographer, living my dream of exploring the mountains like never before.

As we toured through the snow-covered landscape, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this journey and how far it has brought me. With conditions lining up just right, I was able to commemorate this special occasion capturing a new print. I captured - "Callaghan Country" as the light quickly passed through the valley.
