My daughters and I just returned from a summer road trip to the Gulf Islands of British Columbia where I was able to capture some amazing shots. It’s amazing to share my love of adventure with my family – my girls are growing into little explorers.
Hiking through lush coastal forests and exploring the rugged shorelines, my daughters’ excitement was on par with my own. The farther in the forest we hiked, the more I felt like we were exploring a new world.
There’s something completely relaxing about gazing out into the vastness of the ocean. We swapped our time between exploring new hikes and wandering the rugged shores.
I was fortunate to capture two new prints for my fine art collection. Returning from an afternoon hike the sunlight filtering through the haze of distant forest fires gave the forest a unique soft glow.
