I am excited to share this news with you! My print “Pure Solitude” received a feature in the prestigious coffee table book Our Magnificent Planet curated by LensWork Publishing. This is such an honor, as my photo was selected from thousands of submissions from talented landscape photographers around the world.
This shot, “Pure Solitude” was taken during a three-day ski-touring adventure across the Coastal classic Neve Traverse - a big goal on my bucket list for a long time. I was fortunate to capture a lone skier ascending to Mount Garibaldi in passing light. For me, “Pure Solitude” perfectly captures the feeling of solitude immersed in the vastness of the Coast Mountains. Moving through places I never even imagined were possible.
It’s amazing when you’re out there, you have no idea how these adventures might translate into a photo that could potentially be a new print in my limited edition collection. I’m so happy that my adventures resonated with others as well and this photo will now be a part of a collection of so many other incredible landscape photos. It’s a moment I hold with gratitude to be chosen for this project.
